TDFC Return To Play Protocol

Participant safety is our priority.  Our goal is to provide a safe environment for our players, coaches, referee’s, and parents to enjoy the game we love.


It is important to emphasize these guidelines to ensure continued opportunities to play.


Prior to any participation:


HEALTH CHECK:

All participants, athletes, coaches, technical staff, administrative staff, referee’s, and spectators must confirm they are not experiencing any symptoms related to Covid-19 or been in contact with anyone testing positive for Covid-19

· Symptoms related to Covid-19

· Fever

· Cough

· Shortness of breath

· Sore throat

· Loss of taste or smell

· No contact with anyone with a confirmed Covid-19 within the last 14 days

· Not been restricted or quarantined from other activities


Any participant who is unable to confirm the information listed above should restrict themselves from participation and contact a healthcare professional.


Examples:
Family member has tested positive.  Result: players or parents should exclude themselves from participation until verified Covid – 19 is not present.

Player has been quarantined from school for Covid – 19 exposure. Result: player should exclude themselves from participation until verified Covid -19 is not present.

Family member is sick and or player is sick.  Result: player should exclude themselves from participation until verified Covid – 19 is not present.


Tampa Dynamo FC Return to Play Protocols regarding RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 RNA (Covid-19)

If You Test Positive for COVID-19 (Isolate)

Everyone, regardless of vaccination status.

 · Stay home for 5 days.

· If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house.

· Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.

If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)

If you:

Have been boosted
OR
Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months
OR
Completed the primary series of J&J vaccine within the last 2 months

 · Wear a mask around others for 10 days.

· Test on day 5, if possible.

If you develop symptoms get a test and stay home.

If you:

Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over 6 months ago and are not boosted
OR
Completed the primary series of J&J over 2 months ago and are not boosted
OR
Are unvaccinated

 · Stay home for 5 days. After that continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

· If you can’t quarantine you must wear a mask for 10 days.

· Test on day 5 if possible.

If you develop symptoms get a test and stay home.
