In-House Recreational Program Information

Registration for the Spring 2020 In-House Recreational league is now open!  Registration will close on February 22nd.

In-person registration Saturday, February 22nd from 9-1pm at Summerfield Soccer Park.

Practice will start the week of February 24th
First games will start on March 7th
Last games will be on May 9th
End of the Season Tournament will on May 15th, 16th and 17th.
(for 7U to 12U age groups) 

Games will not be played on March 14th and March 21st due to spring break.

Game Schedule
The first games will begin on March 7th.  Game start times range from 9am to 12pm (subject to change depending on the numbers of teams registered).

Practice Schedule
Practices will start the week of February 24th. 

Teams will be scheduled to practice one night a week.  All practices and games are held at our Soccer-only Complexes. Games will be held each week on Saturday (tentative Friday nights for any re-schedules).

Practice Nights
Practice nights are either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.  No practices on Fridays.

Each team is assigned one practice night per week based on player availability.  Practices are held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the location to which your player is registered. Practices during holidays will be determined by each coach/team (Practice will be held if the team has enough players and everyone wants to attend). Building teams is a complicated process with many variables to take into consideration including: availability of coaches, night of the week you are not available, evenly distributing the girls, keeping siblings on the same practice night, etc. We will also try to accommodate other special requests as much as possible but cannot guarantee them.  We want to ensure balance across all teams in all age groups. As registration is finalized you will receive updates via email and will also be contacted by your coach prior to the first practice night.

Players should have soccer ball (size 3 for Lil' Dynamo and 5/6U, size 4 for 7U-12U), cleats, shin guards, and water. 

The registration fee includes a full uniform (Blue & Grey jerseys, shorts, socks; jersey, shorts & socks for Lil' Dynamo), FYSA registration, insurance, referee fees, end of season party, and a tournament for 7U-12U ages.

Lil' Dynamo Program

The Lil' Dynamo program is an introduction for our youngest players. Through fun activities we teach the players the fundamentals of soccer to prepare them for actual games when they reach the 5U age group. We encourage our parents to participate in the sessions to make the experience fun and exciting. 

Boys and Girls - 2016 Birth Years

Lil' Dynamo Sessions are Saturdays ONLY from 9am to 10am.

First session starts on March 7th.

Volunteer Coaches 

Coaches are required to complete FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Assocation) and County requirements. Those requirements include:

1) Attend the coaches clinic which includes instruction by Competitive training staff, and watch coaches training video session
2) Background check
3) Online concussion course
4) CPR training
5) Online SafeSport certification. 

Head Coaches who have complete ALL five requirements will receive a $50 refund. Coaches who are returning from a subsequent season may opt to receive a voucher code instead of a check reimbursement. The voucher code would be provided to you via email that you can use on your next registration to receive a discount on your player(s) registration.

The next coaches clinic will be held on TBD, and CPR will be held on TBD. This clinic will cover county requirements, skills and training that prepare you for the season.

Recreation registration fees are as follows: 
  • Lil' Dynamos = $75.00
    (kids born in 2016)   
  • 5U/6U = $125.00
    (kids born in 2014
    & 2015)
  • 7U to12U = $150.00
    (kids born in 2008 to 2013)

Special Discount for Valrico Location (2020 Spring Season)

  • Lil' Dynamos = $75.00
    (kids born in 2016)   
  • 5U to 12U = $95.00
    (kids born in 2008 to 2015)

Sibling Discount - When one child registers at full price, siblings from the same household will receive a $10 discount off the regular registration price for each additional sibling. * A special discount was put in place for the Valrico location only.*
