2019 Annual General Meeting

Tampa Dynamo FC 2019 Annual General Meeting - December 14, 2019


 The business of this meeting shall include only:

 - A report on the activities of the Club.
 - A full Treasurer’s annual report.
 - A review of the Constitution & By-law Amendments, if applicable.
 - Offering of suggestions to the BOD for improvements to the quality of the program.
 - BOD elections.
 - The counting of the Ballots for board positions and announcement of results.

 

 Board of Directors Elections - Nominees

 Nominations are being accepted for positions that are up for election:
 
  • President  – Must be a board member who has served 1 year on the board.See role description below.
 
  • Treasurer – See role description below.
 
  • VP Of Recreational Soccer – See role description below.
League members in good standing may submit nominations in writing to a member of existing BOD that includes a brief biography. The term for newly elected board members is TWO years.  A proposed nominee must agree to his/her nomination, either by personal acceptance or by a letter of acceptance no later than 9/29/2019, 5:00pm.
Nominations should be emailed to [email protected] 
and/or [email protected] or can be hand delivered to a board member personally.
The qualified candidates for office to the BOD will be publicized to the membership 15 days prior to AGM meeting.
Newly elected Board members shall assume office immediately after the close of business at the AGM.

 

 Board Of Director Role Descriptions

 President
 
 Primary job responsibilities include: 
  1.  
  2.  
 
  General duties:
 
  1. Attend all board meetings in a voting capacity and submit reports, as needed, to the BOD.
  2.  Submit a summary report at the end of his / her term and provide a copy to the President to assure a complete and orderly transfer of all information to his / her successor.
 
  
 Treasurer 
 Primary job responsibilities include: 
  1.  Provide general over site to the management of TDFC funds.
  2. Create a financial report to the BOD at each meeting and at other times when requested by the President or the BOD.
  3. Preform the collection of player dues and coordinate the payment of invoices to TDFC.
  4. Maintain and coordinate all team accounts in good standing.
  5. Preform other responsibilities assigned by the BOD or the President.
 
 General duties: 
  1. Attend all board meetings in a voting capacity and submit reports, as needed, to the BOD.
  2. Submit a summary report at the end of his / her term and provide a copy to the President to assure a complete and orderly transfer of all information to his / her successor.
 
  
 VP of Recreational Soccer 
 Primary job responsibilities include: 
  1. Oversee recreational programs and supervise rec Administrator.
  2. Coordinate referees for league games.
  3. Liaison to TARSA league.
 
 General duties: 
  1. Attend all board meetings in a voting capacity and submit reports, as needed, to the BOD.
  2. Submit a summary report at the end of his / her term and provide a copy to the President to assure a complete and orderly transfer of all information to his / her successor.
 
  

 

 

Location & Time

Saturday, December 14th 2:30 p.m.

Voting will be between 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The general meeting portion will be held at the Summerfield location.
